Working with WORLDwrite and its fledgling not-for-profit film company Chew on it productions, this is a role for volunteers who want to try their hand at scriptwriting and the thorough research it entails. The scriptwriter's role is a big one, and administrative work, including contacting and drafting professional letters and material to checking archives, facts and writing up detailed background research, is a large part of the job. Working on films that challenge the status quo, the opportunity exists for volunteers to take on serious script development and get the credit for it, or to take on smaller tasks such as preparing sections and researching subjects, background material and ideas.
