Our sightseeing tours are no ordinary tours: they will uncover the good, the great, the bad and the ugly, and what is not usually covered by the tourism industry. This is where the tour historians come in, digging up local histories from archives, libraries and online, checking facts, stories, old newspapers and searching for images. These alternative tours will eventually feature on foot, online and on film. No skills are needed for this role but an interest in historical investigation will be useful. Your input in terms of time is completely flexible for this position and you can work from home if preferred, but it would be useful if you can attend at least a few planning meetings. An uncompromising commitment to supporting people coming to the UK from all over the world is essential.
